What a great site?! I mean, card shows anymore are boring and you are lucky to find what you're actually looking for unless some ho-bo who fell into some cards because of a dead grandpa, but it also blows ALL other similar sites out of the water. I hate to say technology is taking over our lives, but if you are reading this message, it already has! But it also can be a good thing. For all of the cards you can find on the internet (COMC preferably) there is no way you would have found at your annual BFE card/antique show...
Has everyone seen the new 'My Processing Status' Screen? Does anyone know what the 'STATE' column represents? Are the 14 different states listed somewhere?
Here is a sample 'Status' screen:

DAMN!!! You got me..Soundsd like it might be "State of Confusion" Rated from 1 being the less and 14 a complete meltdown..LOL I have no idea
Only thing I can come up with a "staging scale for completion of your order (1 you placed your order 14 it was completed?
DKSchultz
I got an email from Tim and he said that their stage process was proprietary. So he would not tell me about the 14 stages. He did say that he might just make it a more general indicator. I guess that means something like a percentage complete column.
Another thing I wondered about was the fact that the 2 batches that have already been processed are on stages 12 and 13...... Interesting.
Dkshultz.... I have not had time to take a look at all of your cards and see which ones I am interested in. I know there are some. If you are interested in some of my cards, let me know and maybe we can arrange some trades.
I also will have a couple of batches coming out in the next 2 weeks. Just FYI.....

I have bookmarked a few of your cards I would be interested in.. We can get together on these whenever you wish and see if we can do some trading, or i can make you a good deal on the ones you like of mine.

I am very interested on the "state" column because I have cards that have now been sent over 2 months now, not being on the site. Not really sure how many COMC employees they have, but they all seem to have other jobs also. Understandable, but I just don't like to be quoted expected dates and it being changed "3" times to later dates...
I was thinking on the same lines as a percentage, but the numbers did not make sence. If you are using a percentage you would normally use 1 -10.
But if that is the case then I can see why the 12/13 could be on the "completed" list.
I have sent cards in and after they are "completed" a few days or even weeks later another of my cards is added. Might have something to do with researching the value, scanning problems, or several other things that pop up.
Powerfan makes a good point, many times it takes far longer to get cards on then expected..(Anything longer then 8 weeks is excessive time) Maybe they should make a cut off on the amount of cards a seller can send in, just to speed up the turn around time. Say 250 cards untill they get a handle on it.
What do you guys think?
