I'm wondering what people here think of graded cards. I personally collect both graded and raw cards and enjoy both. It seems like the only thing that I can sell on e-bay are graded cards. When I joined COMC, I sent them about 300 ungraded cards and 20 or so graded ones.
While I am very happy with the rate of sales on the raw cards, I haven't sold a single graded one. I have 50+ more graded cards I'd like to sell, but I'm wary of sending them to COMC if there isn't any interest in graded cards on that site.
Any thoughts? Do COMC users have a general dislike for graded cards? Maybe I should just stick to e-bay for graded and COMC for ungraded?
Just trying to start a little discussion and get some feedback. What do you guys think?
Myself, the graded cards are OK.... But I do not know if I want to pay a premium to get them. And that may be why many people do not want a graded card..... especially if they can get a similar ungraded card at a lower price.
Also, I like to put my cards either in an album or in a sleeve, plastic case or toploader. In a toploader or a sleeve, you can keep them in a box too. Plastic cases generally fit in a box too. The graded cards usually cannot be kept on a box or album with other cards.
Plus the fact that you may have to spend extra bucks to even get them graded.....
Just my thoughts on the graded cards.....
